Newport Baroque presents harpsichordist Paul Cienniwa in a concert of J.S. Bach’s complete Klavierübung, Book II. Published in 1735 as the second of four volumes, the collection includes the master’s extensive French Overture and his very popular Italian Concerto. Bach specifically wrote the collection for a harpsichord with two manuals, and the concert will feature such an instrument.

The concert is on Saturday, September 20 at 8pm in the Hawes Room at Trinity Church (One Queen Anne Square, Newport, RI), with a pre-concert lecture at 7:30pm.
