We had such fun at last year's workshop with Instructor Philippa Waite that we just had to have her back!  Ms. Waite studied with Wendy Hilton and taught for her at the annual Baroque Music and Dance Workshops at Stanford University.  Ms. Waite is currently guest teacher of Period Movement and Dance at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff, and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.  She is Artistic Director of the UK's Consort de Danse Baroque and as such choreographs in the Baroque style for the company's productions; she also teaches, performs and gives lecture-demonstrations throughout the UK and abroad. The workshop will include instruction in some of the basic dance steps and arm motions in the main Baroque dance rhythms: bourée & menuet in the morning session and sarabande & gigue in the afternoon.
