Personal Summary / Bio
Midwest Young Artists(MYA) Vivaldi Early Music Academy program includes using period instruments and classic literature to develop a love and appreciation of early music.
MYA’s goal in developing it’s Vivaldi Early Music Academy is to fill an educational obligation, not only in our role of training the best and brightest future professional musicians, but also in our role of developing the audiences of the future, to help the young people entrusted to our care for their musical education, fully understand and appreciate the aesthetic values of our shared cultural heritage.
We have worked with such artists as Jerry Fuller, Director of Ars Antigua, and Mathieu Dufour, principal flute of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The MYA Vivaldi Early Music Academy is under the direction of Dr. Allan Dennis.
