Early Music in Columbus

Personal Summary / Bio

The Early Music in Columbus concert series presents six programs of medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music each season. The series is currently in its 32nd season. During the 2011-12 season, concerts will be presented at Capital University, at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and at First Congregational Church. Artists presented include Apollo's Fire, Anonymous 4, Red Priest, Sequentia, Pomerium, The Baltimore Consort, Hesperus, Ensemble Rebel, Ronn McFarlane, Julianne Baird, The Rose Ensemble and many more. A feature of each season since 1992 are the annual Twelfth Night concerts in early January with the Columbus-based ensemble, The Early Interval. The series is supported in part by The Columbus Foundation, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and the Ohio Arts Council.
