Master of the papal choir at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Palestrina wrote music that is exquisitely beautiful and expressive.

To conclude the Weekend Celebration of Recorder and Harpsichord, Gwyn Roberts and Atsuko Watanabe will conduct a master class on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Recorder soloists or ensembles may register for a 40 minute session to perform a prepared piece and then work with Gwyn and Atsuko to refine their interpretation and perfect their technique.
